Ottleys Plantation Inn St Kitts

The erstwhile sugar plantation from the 17th century is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, a wedding, a honeymoon or just a plain holiday. The Ottley's Plantation Inn is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a place that is tucked away from the rest of the world but is accessible at the same time.  Situated at the base of Mt. Liamuiga this property is surrounded by 35 acres of lawns and gardens.

Facilities

The Ottley's Plantation Inn has a variety of activities to engage its guests in. Some of these activities are available at the inn while the others are available nearby.

The highlight of the inn is probably its swimming pool which is 66ft in size. There is also transportation that can take guest to either of the two beaches. Shopping areas and the golf course too are only about 20 minutes from the inn.

If you'd rather stay at the inn, there is tennis and croquet that you can engage yourself i. You can even choose to go mountain biking or on long walks through the trails. Once you have exhausted yourself you can get pampered while you relax at the Mango Orchard Spa.

Water sports are also available on request. Snorkelling, kayaking, scuba diving, deep sea fishing and windsurfing are just some of the options that are available. If you would rather look around the islands there are boat trips and catamaran charters that can be organised.

The Royal Palm Restaurant at the inn has a charm of its own. The restaurant along with the swimming pool is enclosed within what remains of the walls of the sugar factory. Innovative menus, romantic dinners and excellent island food are what this restaurant is best known for.

Rooms

The inn has about 24 rooms in all of which some are in the Great House while other are in the Caribbean cottages. All the rooms have an air of cheerfulness to them with their colonial English style.

The standard, deluxe and supreme rooms

The standard rooms are the basic accommodation that the inn provides. These rooms are spread out between the Great House and the cottages and have views of either the garden or the ocean. Most of the deluxe rooms are in the Great House. Every deluxe room is designed in a different way. The supreme rooms are the most popular and it might be the master bedroom of the royal suite. These rooms are large with elegant furniture. They also have a patio, plunge pools and Jacuzzis.

The suites and the Grand Villa
