Facilities

The list of facilities at this state of the art resort in Mexico just goes on and on. To begin with are the 8 swimming pools that are located outdoors. Two out of these are ranked amongst the largest in Mexico. Each one of these pools runs along the beach and have Jacuzzis and swim up bars. There are also basketball courts, fitness centres, tennis courts, beach volleyball, beach soccer, a marina for water sports, beach and pool volleyball, theme parties, a climbing tower, a sauna, a spa etc. Of course all of this is for those not interested in golf.

The golf course at the Moon Palace Golf and Spa is a golfer's dream come true. Set amidst rolling landscapes, this is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course. For guest who would like to make a few golf related purchases there is a pro shop. Other amenities here include a baggage hold and a practice area.

Rooms

The superior deluxe rooms and the concierge level rooms

The basic accommodation at the resort starts at a superior deluxe room. These rooms have an option of three views: ocean front, garden view or partial ocean view. All rooms come with king sized or two double beds, liquor dispensers, double Jacuzzis and balconies. Some might even have a mini bar with sodas etc and a hammock on the balcony.

The concierge level rooms too have similar amenities. However the liquor that is available in these rooms is premium brands.

The suites and family room

The resort has different types of suits and a family room category as well. For a vacationer opting for a suite, his or her options are: the two bedroom presidential suite (2 bedrooms with king sized or double beds), the junior suite with a view of the golf course (1 bedroom with a king sized bed), the two bedroom suite with a view of the golf course, the grand deluxe suite and the grand presidential suite. All suites have sit outs or patios.

The family room is a two bedroom unit with its own balcony.
