Coco Bay Antigua

Though it looks extremely unpretentious, Coco Bay is one of the more exclusive resorts in Antigua. Since it's located away from the commercial hub centres, Coco Bay is not like your regular 'touristy' resort. In the true sense of the word, it is a getaway, with three beaches and a hillside compound that filters out all the cares and worries of the world, letting you put up your feet and relax.

Facilities

Guests can indulge in a lot of activities in this resort, and they are virtually spoilt for choice wit all the facilities that are available to them. Sports and activities include sunfish sailing, Hobie Cat rides, snorkelling, kayaking, nature walks, tennis, scuba diving, horse riding, water skiing, golf and cruises on the catamaran. If these activities fail to interest you there is plenty to see and do around the resort. You are sure to find something to match your likes and taste.

When it comes to food, you'd better be prepared to be knocked right off your feet and "wowed" by the variety and quality of food served at Coco Bay. The two exotic restaurants on site are Rafters and Sheer.

When you come to Rafters, you have the luxury of having breakfast, lunch and dinner accompanied by the sights of the sea. While you can expect a buffet for breakfast and lunch, dinner is an a la carte affaire. Don't forget to come down to Rafters on Thursdays for the exceptional Caribbean Buffet, and on Sundays for some West Indian fare.

The other restaurant on site, Sheer Restaurant, is also open to the general public, and we recommend that you make your reservations well in advance to sample the most mouth-watering delicacies ever.

Rooms

There are 49 cottages and 4 plantation houses in the Coco Bay Resort. The cottages give an old world rustic feel as they are built on stilts, and have a verandah to provide undisturbed view of the panorama. There are three kinds of cottages - standard, sea view and sea front.

The plantation houses are the special features of this resort. Located on a hilltop, they are the most luxurious rooms in the resort. They have a master bedroom furnished with a king size bed, and another bedroom with a pair of twin beds. Both bedrooms have an attached bathroom. The plantation houses also boast of two spacious verandahs that provide an awesome view of the sea.
