After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast with a complimentary free newspaper, Amaryllis offers a whole host of options to unwind in both body and mind. These include snorkelling and safe swimming on the beach, free loungers and towels to relax around one of the two sheltered pools and free access to non motorized water sports equipment. With a morning of relaxing under the belt, a variety of dining options are available for both lunch and dinner. Meals are served in two restaurants for those that have selected the relevant packages, but great dining opportunities also exist for guests who have selected just bed and breakfast options. The Almond Tree Restaurant, Pool Bar and Turtle Nest Beach Bar offer a variety of choices ranging from sandwiches to gourmet meals. In addition, there are other dining facilities at the nearby Chattell Plaza.

Located on the premises, the Chattell Plaza creates a diversion from the beach. There is a wine bar and restaurant, coffee shop and bar for the night owls complete with a virtual games arcade. For the ladies, a hairdressing salon and beauty spa awaits as well as a fitness centre and gym for those wanting to retain their gorgeous shape.

Amaryllis Beach Resort is centrally located and therefore functions as a springboard to the sites of the area. The Barbados golf Course is a mere fifteen minute drive from the resort and offers guests a 15% discount on fees. In close proximity are a number of historic sites worth visiting and all be accessed by taxis which can be organized from the front desk.

Rooms

All the rooms at the Amaryllis Beach Resort boast either a beautiful garden or ocean view and are fully air-conditioned. Each has a computer outlet, cable TV, a telephone that can make international calls, a small fridge, a clock radio and a coffee maker. Rooms are also all equipped with a bathtub or shower, hairdryer, ironing kits and a safe for the storage of personal valuables.

Hotel Rooms

The 45 hotel rooms are the ideal destination for singles or couples and each have either a patio or balcony. Guests are encouraged to buy their own coffee at the convenience store.

Disabled Rooms

The 12 disabled rooms are similar to the hotel rooms but have additional access via a lift. The rooms conform to specifications for the American Association of the disabled.

Studios

The 43 x studios offer the additional facility of a kitchenette equipped with a two-stove burner, toaster and microwave. A full set of crockery, cutlery and other cooking essentials allows guests to prepare their own meals. These studios sleep two persons only but four of them can interconnect with the super studio. Each has a patio or balcony.

Deluxe Studios

This more spacious variety of the standard studio also includes a dining room table and a third bed. There are twenty two of these three sleepers on offer.

One Bedroom Suites

The 20 x one bedroom suites are family sized units that comfortably sleep two adults and two children. These variations on the deluxe studios also include a living area and sofa and have either a patio or balcony attached.

Two Bedroom Suites

There are only 2 x two bedroom suites on offer to sleep four adults and two children. They are identical to the one bedroom suites other than the addition of a further room.
